Abstract

Short duration(5 days) of antipsychotic medication induced tardive dyskinesia(TD) in a mood disorder patient with hyperthyroidism, giving us an experience that TD is more liable in a sensitive patient and is not always induced by high potency
drugs.
TD in a patients with mood disorder who also had hyperthyroidism improved within 14 days when treated with calcium blocker, diltiazem.
